In recent days, Rahul Dravid is rumored to be appointed as coach for India’s team touring Sri Lanka. Various sources have reported same the news. Rahul Dravid is currently looking over India A and India’s under-19 cricket teams.

BCCI has not made any formal announcement of the appointment. Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun and batting coach Vikram Rathour who will be India’s team going to England.

Dravid has been crucial in the latest talents that have come up from India A and Under-19 and played for India or IPL. Rahul Dravid is also Director of Cricket Operations at National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru.

To keep the safety of the teams’ bubbles intact, the matches are likely to be played without crowds. The Sooriyawewa ground near Hambantota and the stadium in Dambulla are the frontrunners to host the matches.
